Adidas Power Soccer 98 – PS1 Game

Adidas Power Soccer 98 is a football game for the PlayStation and a follow-up to the original Adidas Power Soccer. Matches are played in 3D with polygonal players, and the control scheme covers passing, shooting, tackling and sprinting along with special move inputs for tricks and powered shots. You choose from international teams and can play single matches or work through tournament competition, with options to change match length, weather and other conditions before kick-off. Multiplayer allows head-to-head games, and commentary and crowd audio accompany play. Adidas branding features across the presentation. Handling favours fast, arcade-leaning football over detailed simulation, with the focus on attacking play and set-piece opportunities rather than squad management or long-term team building.
