Alien Hominid – Gamecube Game

Alien Hominid on the Nintendo GameCube is a hand-drawn, two-dimensional run-and-gun game expanded from an earlier browser version. You play a small yellow alien whose ship is shot down on Earth, and the FBI wants you gone. Armed with a blaster and grenades, you move left to right across side-scrolling stages, shooting agents, vehicles and large boss creatures. A single hit kills you, so learning enemy patterns and using moves like burrowing underground to eat nearby agents is central to survival. Two players can fight through the campaign together on the same screen. Alongside the main levels the game includes minigames and unlockable extras, including hats and other cosmetic items for your alien. The cartoon art style, exaggerated animation and gore give it a distinct look.
