Andretti Racing – Sega Saturn Game

This is the Sega Saturn version of Andretti Racing, a motorsport game covering more than one class of American racing. You can drive open-wheel Indy-style cars as well as stock cars, with handling that changes noticeably between them, and race on a mixture of ovals and road-style circuits. Before an event you can adjust vehicle setup rather than being locked to one configuration, and longer races bring qualifying and pit stops into play. Modes range from single races and practice up to season-style competition, and a split-screen option allows two players to race on one console. Multiple camera angles include an in-car view and a chase view, and the presentation follows the broadcast-style approach common to racing games of the period, with commentary and timing overlays.
