Assault City – Sega Master System Game

Assault City is a light-gun style shooting game for the Sega Master System, playable with the Light Phaser or with the standard control pad. The action is on rails: the screen scrolls and pans through ruined urban settings while enemies appear at fixed points, and you aim and fire to take them down before they hit you. Levels move through streets, interiors and industrial areas, ending in tougher armored opponents and machines that require sustained fire and careful timing. Ammunition is limited and must be reloaded, and hitting the wrong targets or missing shots carries a cost, so accuracy matters more than speed. The near-future premise casts you as a lone gunman clearing out hostile forces. Scoring rewards precision, and the game is short but demanding, built around repeated attempts to memorize enemy placement.
