Battletech – Sega Genesis Game

BattleTech on Genesis puts you in control of a BattleMech, the towering combat walkers of the tabletop wargame setting. You take on combat missions against enemy mechs, vehicles and structures, managing more than just aim: weapons build heat when fired, so you have to pace your attacks and watch your mech’s condition as armour is stripped away section by section. Different weapon types cover short and long range, encouraging you to choose engagements rather than fire everything at once. The game is presented from an overhead-style viewpoint as you move across mission maps hunting targets and reaching objectives. Story and briefing sequences frame the fighting within the setting’s ongoing conflicts between rival houses and mercenary units.
