Battletoads and Double Dragon The Ultimate Team – SNES Game

A crossover beat ’em up that puts the Battletoads and the Double Dragon brothers on the same team. You pick a single character and fight through side-scrolling stages, working through waves of enemies with punches, kicks and grabs, along with the exaggerated impact animations the Battletoads games are known for. Levels mix straightforward brawling with sections built around hazards and platforming, and the pace shifts between crowd fights and set pieces that require memorising patterns. Two players can play together, with friendly fire between characters possible depending on how you attack. Enemies drawn from both series appear, and boss encounters cap off the stages. Difficulty is high, with limited lives and continues, so progress depends on learning enemy behaviour and the layout of each stage.
