Based on the Beyblade: Metal Fusion series, this Wii title puts you in control of spinning tops battling inside enclosed arenas. You launch your bey with a motion of the Wii Remote, then steer and time attacks as the top careens around the stadium walls, trying to knock your opponent out of the ring or stop it spinning. Beys can be customised from parts, letting you adjust the balance between attack power, stamina and defence before a match. Characters and beys drawn from the anime appear as opponents, and matches can be played against the computer or against another player. Presentation leans on the show’s style, with arena hazards and camera work built around the impact of top-on-top collisions.
