Black Belt – Sega Master System Game

Black Belt is a side-scrolling fighting game for the Sega Master System in which you play a martial artist moving left to right through a series of stages. Your fighter has punches and kicks, high and low attacks, and a jump, and the challenge comes from waves of enemies who rush in from both sides and must be knocked out before you can advance. Each stage ends with a one-on-one boss fight against a tougher opponent who takes a specific pattern of blows and openings to defeat, and landing enough clean hits can finish them with a single decisive strike. Between stages, still screens carry the story forward. Play is built on timing and spacing against groups rather than combo strings.
