Bomber Raid – Sega Master System Game

Bomber Raid is a vertically scrolling shooter for the Sega Master System. You pilot a propeller-driven fighter plane over sea, land and enemy installations, shooting down waves of aircraft, tanks and gun emplacements while weaving through incoming fire. Power-ups dropped by enemies upgrade your main weapon and add support options that fly alongside your plane, and losing a life sends your firepower back down, so survival matters as much as aggression. Each stage builds toward a larger boss target such as a battleship or fortified vehicle that requires learning its attack patterns. The pace is steady rather than frantic, and levels scroll continuously with no branching paths. It is a straightforward example of the 8-bit shoot-’em-up on Sega’s console.
