Bomberman Hero – Nintendo 64 Game

Bomberman Hero is a single-player 3D action game rather than a multiplayer battle title. You guide Bomberman through a series of stages viewed from an overhead-angled perspective, running, jumping and throwing bombs at enemies while working toward the exit. Jumping is central here, so a good deal of play involves judging distances across gaps and platforms as well as timing blasts. Some stages hand you special gear that changes how you move, including flight and underwater sections that shift the pace away from standard platforming. Stages are scored at the end, rewarding thorough play and quick completion, which encourages replaying earlier levels for better results. Boss encounters break up the level sets, and the game keeps the bright, rounded art style and upbeat soundtrack associated with the series.
