Bomberman Land – Wii Game

Bomberman Land on Wii combines the series’ bomb-dropping battles with a large selection of minigames. The minigames are built around the Wii Remote, using tilting, pointing and short motion gestures for quick contests that can be played alone or passed between several players in the same room. A separate structure lets you explore a themed park-style setting, taking on attractions and unlocking further activities as you progress. The traditional battle mode is also included, putting players in enclosed grids where you place bombs, blow open soft blocks, grab power-ups that increase blast range and bomb count, and try to catch opponents in an explosion. Presentation is bright and cartoonlike throughout, and the controls are kept simple enough for players who are new to the series.
