Bomberman World – PS1 Game

Bomberman World keeps the series’ overhead, grid-based action on PlayStation. You move through enclosed arenas, placing bombs to destroy soft blocks and enemies while staying clear of your own blast radiuses. Power-ups hidden behind blocks raise how many bombs you can set at once and how far explosions travel, and collecting them early makes tight arenas much easier to survive. The single-player side works through sets of stages with bosses to finish off each group. The battle mode is built for local multiplayer, dropping players into a shared arena to fight until one remains, with support for larger groups through a multitap. Controls stay simple, using movement plus a button to lay bombs, and the presentation uses bright, cartoon-styled characters against clearly readable arena layouts.
