Breath of Fire – GBA Game

Breath of Fire is Capcom’s turn-based role-playing game, brought to the Game Boy Advance from its Super Nintendo original. You play as Ryu, a young member of the Dragon Clan who can transform into dragon forms in battle, and you assemble a party of companions as you travel across the world map. Combat is menu-driven with attacks, magic and items, and each party member has a distinct role plus a field ability used outside of battle, such as reaching new areas or interacting with the environment, letting you swap the lead character to solve obstacles. Towns provide shops, inns and story progression between dungeons. The handheld version keeps the 16-bit sprite art and adds conveniences suited to portable play, including saving and a reworked interface.
