Brothers in Arms

Brothers in Arms: D-Day is the PlayStation Portable entry in the World War II squad shooter series. As with the console games, you fight through the Normandy campaign as an American paratrooper sergeant, leading fire and assault teams rather than acting alone. The core tactic is suppression and flanking: order one element to pin an enemy position with covering fire, then move the other around the flank to clear it. A situational overview helps you read cover and enemy placement before you commit your men. Missions cover hedgerows, farmland and French villages, drawing on content from the earlier games in the series alongside material arranged for the handheld. Controls are adapted to the PSP’s single analogue nub and face buttons for movement, aiming and squad commands.
