Bug – Sega Saturn Game

Bug is a platformer presented with a movie-studio framing: you play an insect actor starring in a film, and each level is a set on which you perform. Movement takes place along paths that run into and across the screen as well as left to right, so you can walk on surfaces at different angles and depths while the camera holds a fixed perspective. The core attack is stomping enemies, with a spit attack available as an alternative for creatures you would rather not touch. Falling off narrow walkways is a constant risk, and levels are built from twisting ledges, moving platforms and hazards. Stages are grouped into themed worlds that end in boss encounters, with voice clips from Bug commenting throughout.
