Bust A Groove – PS1 Game

A rhythm game for the PlayStation in which two dancers face off on the same stage. You watch the on-screen prompts and enter directional inputs in time with the beat, then press the confirm button on the final count to complete a move. Chaining successful moves builds your performance and fills the crowd meter, while missed timing breaks your flow and hands the advantage to your rival. Each character has a distinct look, dance style and music track, and stages change with the opponent you face. Special attacks let you interrupt the other dancer, adding a competitive layer on top of the timing challenge. There is a single-player ladder against computer opponents and a two-player versus mode. Play is driven by the standard controller, with no dance mat required.
