Capcom Classics Collection – PS2 Game

Capcom Classics Collection for PlayStation 2 gathers a large set of Capcom’s arcade games in one disc-based package. The line-up spans the company’s 1980s and early 1990s coin-op output, covering side-scrolling action, run-and-gun shooting, vertical and horizontal shoot-’em-ups, beat-’em-ups and fighting games. Each title is emulated with its arcade rules intact, including credit-based continues, and the collection adds menu options such as difficulty and display settings, screen orientation choices for the vertical games, and save support so you do not need to finish a run in one sitting. Extras include artwork galleries, sound tests and unlockable material tied to playing the games. Many titles support two players. The presentation is built around a front-end menu from which you select games individually.
