Captain Comic – NES Game

A side-scrolling platform game in which you control Captain Comic as he explores a series of alien environments to recover treasures. Movement is straightforward running and jumping, and areas connect in a way that encourages backtracking once you have found new equipment. Along the way you collect items and power-ups that extend your abilities, including a projectile weapon and upgrades that improve your jumping and firepower, letting you reach places that were previously closed off. Enemies patrol set paths and drain your health on contact, so progress depends on careful timing and learning each screen’s layout. The visual style is simple and colourful, with distinct backdrops separating the different regions you travel through.
