Castle of Shikigami III – Wii Game

A vertically scrolling shoot-’em-up in which you pick from a cast of characters, each with their own shot type and special attack, and fight through stages packed with dense enemy fire. Scoring revolves around flying close to enemy bullets, which raises your multiplier and rewards deliberate risk-taking rather than staying at a safe distance. Characters have their own story scenes and dialogue, so runs differ depending on who you choose, and bosses fill much of the screen with layered bullet patterns to weave through. Difficulty options and score attack play give the game its replay structure. Controls are simple, using shot, special and bombing inputs, with the depth coming from positioning and pattern reading over long, continuous runs.
