Cel Damage – Gamecube Game

Cel Damage is a vehicular combat game for the GameCube presented in a heavily cel-shaded, cartoon art style meant to look like a Saturday morning animated short. You pick a cartoon character and their vehicle, then drive around open arenas hunting opponents with weapons scattered across the map, including melee tools, projectiles and slapstick gadgets. Damage is played for laughs, with characters flattened, launched and reassembled rather than destroyed. Modes cover straight deathmatch-style combat as well as objective and racing variants across a range of themed arenas. Multiplayer is a focus, with split-screen play against friends, and single-player matches pit you against computer-controlled drivers. Controls are simple driving and firing, keeping the emphasis on chaos in the arena.
