Chameleon Twist – Nintendo 64 Game

Chameleon Twist is a 3D platformer for the Nintendo 64 built around a chameleon’s tongue. You run and jump through themed worlds, but the tongue is the real tool: extend it to grab enemies and objects, swallow foes to spit them back out as projectiles, or latch onto poles to swing and vault yourself across gaps and up to higher ground. Aiming and stretching the tongue takes some practice, and many puzzles and platforming stretches are designed specifically around it. Levels are self-contained stages with collectibles to gather and a boss encounter to close out each world. Presentation is bright and cartoonish with colourful, simple environments. Alongside the single-player adventure there is a multiplayer versus mode using the same tongue mechanics.
