Championship Motocross – PS1 Game

Championship Motocross is a dirt bike racing game for the original PlayStation. You ride motocross bikes around enclosed off-road tracks made up of jumps, banked turns, whoops and rutted straights, racing against a pack of computer-controlled riders. Handling is built around managing the bike in the air as well as on the ground: how you take a jump affects your landing and how quickly you get back on the throttle. Modes cover single races and a championship structure where results across events are carried forward. The game is played from a chase camera behind the rider, with three-dimensional tracks and riders in the style of late-1990s PlayStation racing. Multiplayer racing on a split screen is included for a second player.
