Championship Surfer – Sega Dreamcast Game

Championship Surfer is a surfing game for the Sega Dreamcast. You take a surfer out onto breaking waves, reading each swell and positioning yourself to catch it before carving turns and launching aerial tricks off the lip. Runs are judged on the moves you link together and how long you keep control, so timing your paddle-out and your drop matters as much as the tricks themselves. Wipeouts end a ride early and cost you the score you were building. The game offers a selection of surfers and boards to choose between, along with different surf spots and wave conditions that change how a break has to be approached. Controls cover carving, cutbacks and airs, and you can also attempt to ride inside the barrel of a wave. Competitive events and free-riding sessions are both included.
