Chaos Wars – PS2 Game

Chaos Wars is a turn-based tactical role-playing game for the PlayStation 2. Battles play out on grid-based maps where you move each unit in turn, position characters to attack from advantageous angles, and manage physical attacks alongside magic and special abilities. The cast is a crossover, bringing together characters drawn from a number of separate Japanese game series into a single story, with new party members joining as the plot advances. Between fights you handle equipment, character growth and dialogue scenes that carry the narrative forward. Combat includes combination attacks that let multiple allies strike together when conditions are met, and defeated enemies can contribute to your own roster in some cases. Voiced dialogue accompanies story sequences. The structure alternates story chapters with battles rather than offering free exploration.
