Daytona USA – Sega Saturn Game

Daytona USA brings Sega’s stock car arcade racer to the Saturn. You drive the number 41 Hornet against a large field of opponents on three courses of increasing difficulty, starting with a simple speedway oval and moving on to longer, more technical layouts. The handling encourages power sliding through corners, and you can choose between automatic and manual transmission depending on how much control you want over the drift. Races are structured around checkpoint time extensions in the arcade tradition, so keeping your speed up is as important as your position. The Saturn version includes time attack play and a saved record of your best lap and race times, along with the game’s distinctive vocal soundtrack carried over from the coin-op original.
