De Blob 2 – Wii Game

de Blob 2 continues the colour-restoring platforming of the first game, with Blob rolling through drained urban environments, soaking up paint and covering buildings and streets to bring them back to life. Alongside the open 3D areas, the sequel adds interior sections played as a side-scrolling 2D platformer, switching between the two styles as you progress. Blob is joined by a small robot companion, Pinky, who assists with certain abilities and puzzles, and there are power-ups and objectives that ask for particular colours and colour mixes. The soundtrack again responds to your painting, layering in instruments as areas fill with colour. The Wii release supports motion control and includes cooperative play, with a second player able to take part alongside the main character.
