Dead Head Fred – PSP Game

Dead Head Fred is a third-person action-adventure for the PSP with a pulp detective setting and a darkly comic tone. You play as Fred Neuman, a private investigator who wakes up in a laboratory with his head missing, and the central mechanic has you collecting and swapping the heads of other characters. Each head grants different abilities, from combat moves to sensory powers, and you switch between them to fight enemies, reach new areas and solve environmental puzzles as you investigate what happened to you. The game combines melee brawling with exploration across a run-down city and its surroundings, and the story is delivered through fully voiced cutscenes. Progression is largely linear, with new heads opening up earlier locations as you acquire them.
