Dead or Alive 1 Ultimate – Xbox Game

This is the reworked version of the original Dead or Alive built for the Xbox as part of the Dead or Alive Ultimate package. The one-on-one fighting is unarmed and three-dimensional, with fighters moving freely around enclosed rings. Combat centres on the balance between strikes, throws, and holds, the last of which are timed counters used to interrupt an opponent’s attacks. Ring edges feature Danger Zones that send characters flying when they are knocked into them, adding extra damage. The roster includes fighters such as Kasumi, Ryu Hayabusa, Tina, Bass, Zack, and Jann Lee, each with several costumes. Character models, stages, and effects were rebuilt for Xbox hardware rather than carried over unchanged from the earlier release.
