DJ Hero 2 – Wii Game

DJ Hero 2 is a rhythm game played with a turntable controller. Tracks are built as mashups that blend two songs together, and you hit colored notes on the platter’s three buttons, scratch the record back and forth, and use the crossfader to shift between the two mixes. Later charts layer these actions together and add freestyle sections where you can improvise scratches, crossfades or sample effects. Modes include head-to-head DJ battles against other players or the game itself, and the setlist spans pop, hip-hop, dance and electronic material. Some tracks add vocal parts that a second player can sing, and guitar parts appear on selected mixes. On Wii the game is played with the turntable peripheral rather than the standard controller.
