Donkey Kong Jungle Beat – Gamecube Game

A side-scrolling Donkey Kong platformer designed around rhythm and combos. DK punches, claps and slaps his way through stages, and the game scores you on beats collected rather than a simple exit-reached goal, so chaining attacks, wall jumps and enemy bounces without touching the ground builds larger rewards. Levels are short and fast, with vine swinging, animal helpers you can ride, and boss encounters that require timed punches during openings in the boss’s pattern. It supports the DK Bongos peripheral, where the left and right drums control movement and attacks and clapping into the microphone triggers a shockwave, and it can also be played with a standard controller. Stages are grouped into kingdoms, with results tallied at the end of each one.
