A one-on-one fighting game built around the Double Dragon license, released for the Super Nintendo. Instead of walking through city streets clearing waves of thugs, you select a single fighter and face opponents in round-based matches on themed stages. Billy and Jimmy Lee appear alongside a wider cast, and each character has their own normal attacks, throws and special moves executed with joystick-and-button motions. The game includes a story mode that takes one fighter through a series of opponents, plus versus play against the computer or a second player. Visuals and character designs follow the animated series styling rather than the arcade games. Matches are won by draining the opponent’s health bar or leading on health when the timer expires.
