Double Switch – Sega Saturn Game

Double Switch is a full-motion video game in which you watch an apartment building through its security camera system. From a monitoring room you switch between camera feeds, keeping an eye on tenants and intruders, and trigger the traps built into the building’s rooms and hallways at the right moment to catch them. The action plays out as live-action video footage, so timing matters more than reflex-heavy control: you choose which camera to watch and when to spring a trap, and the story branches depending on who you catch and who you miss. Missing too much causes events to go badly. The Saturn version presents the video sequences with the same interactive structure, mixing scripted scenes with the interruption-based gameplay. It suits players interested in the interactive-movie style of the era.
