Driver 2 – PS1 Game

Driver 2 continues the story of undercover driver Tanner, taking the series’ mission-based driving across several cities. You work through jobs for criminal contacts that involve tailing cars, escaping police, delivering vehicles and reaching locations before a timer runs out, all in heavy, slide-prone cars that respond well to handbrake turns. The main addition over the first game is the ability to leave your vehicle on foot, walk around the streets and take a different car, which some missions require in order to progress. Damage builds up on your car as you drive, and wrecking it or missing a deadline restarts the mission. Alongside the story there are free-driving and pursuit-style modes, and a replay editor that lets you re-cut a chase using different camera angles.
