Driver 3 – PS2 Game

Driver 3 returns to Tanner, the undercover driver of the earlier games, in an open-world action game spread across several international cities. Driving remains the core: you take mission jobs that involve tailing suspects, escaping police pursuit, ramming targets and reaching places under time pressure, in cars that slide heavily and reward handbrake work. This entry expands the on-foot side considerably, letting you leave your vehicle to walk around, use firearms in third-person shooting sequences and steal other cars from the street. Vehicle damage is modelled visibly as you crash, and destroying your car or failing an objective restarts the mission. Outside the story there are free-roaming and challenge-style modes, along with a replay editor for re-cutting a chase with different camera angles and effects.
