Dynamite Duke – Sega Genesis Game

Dynamite Duke is a Genesis conversion of an arcade shooter presented from a behind-the-shoulder perspective. Your character occupies the lower part of the screen while enemies appear ahead of you, and you use a crosshair to line up shots as soldiers, vehicles and gun emplacements attack. Cover can be used to avoid incoming fire, and ammunition and health are limited resources across each stage. Alongside gunfire, your character has a powerful punch for enemies who close in, which becomes important during confrontations at the end of stages. Levels move through military and industrial settings, ending in fights against larger opponents. Progress is stage-by-stage with no branching, making it a straightforward, reflex-driven shooter for single players.
