Earthworm Jim 2 – GBA Game

Earthworm Jim 2 on Game Boy Advance is a handheld version of the platform sequel featuring the worm in a powered suit. Jim runs, jumps and shoots with his blaster, whips his head to attack and swing from hooks, and picks up additional weapons with different firing behaviour to use against enemies. The sequel leans harder on variety than straight platforming: alongside conventional side-scrolling stages, levels change the rules entirely, including sections built around gliding, timed rescues and other one-off mechanics with their own goals and controls. Bosses appear as large animated opponents with set attack patterns. The cartoon art style, exaggerated animation and slapstick humour carry over from the console original, with levels and presentation adjusted for the GBA’s screen and button layout.
