Eternal Poison – PS2 Game

Eternal Poison is a dark fantasy tactical role-playing game for the PlayStation 2. You direct a party across grid-based battle maps, taking turns to move units, attack, cast spells and manage positioning against demonic enemies. The story is told through several separate scenarios with different lead characters, whose paths cross the same conflict from varying perspectives. A key system involves the game’s monsters, which can be worn down and captured rather than simply defeated, then used to obtain equipment and other rewards. Presentation leans on hand-drawn character art and illustrated portraits during dialogue, with a bleak tone that runs through the writing and setting. Battles reward careful preparation, since losses can be costly and enemy encounters are built around specific objectives.
