Extreme G – Nintendo 64 Game

Extreme-G is a futuristic racing game for the Nintendo 64 in which you ride high-speed anti-gravity motorcycles around enclosed circuits. Handling is built for extreme speed, with banked walls, tunnels and jumps that reward learning where to brake and where to hold the throttle. Bikes carry weapons and defensive items picked up on the track, so races involve firing on rivals ahead and behind as well as holding a clean racing line. A boost system lets you build and spend extra speed at the cost of overheating. The game includes single-player race modes against computer opponents and split-screen multiplayer for competing against other players on the same console. Presentation leans on a heavy sense of motion, with speed blur and neon-lit tracks.
