F-15 Strike Eagle – Gameboy Game

F-15 Strike Eagle brings the military jet combat series to the Game Boy. You fly an F-15 fighter through mission-based sorties, using a cockpit-style view with instruments, radar and weapon readouts adapted to the handheld’s small monochrome screen. Missions send you against airborne targets and objectives on the ground, so play involves managing your heading and altitude, tracking contacts, choosing between air-to-air missiles, air-to-ground ordnance and cannon fire, and returning from the target area once the objective is met. Fuel and limited munitions mean sorties involve some planning rather than continuous shooting. The pace is slower and more deliberate than an arcade flying game, leaning on the flight-simulation approach the series is known for while keeping controls within reach of the Game Boy’s two buttons and directional pad.
