Fast and the Furious – PS2 Game

A street racing game for PlayStation 2 tied to The Fast and the Furious film series, with a strong emphasis on drifting. Races take place on city and mountain circuits where holding long, controlled slides through corners builds your score as well as helping you keep pace with rivals, so throttle and steering control matter more than simply taking the tightest line. A garage mode lets you buy and tune cars and alter their appearance with body parts, paint and other modifications, with performance upgrades affecting handling. Licensed vehicles and tuner-culture presentation run throughout, backed by a soundtrack of contemporary music. Alongside the main progression there are multiplayer races for a second player on the same console.
