FIFA 2000 – PS1 Game

A PlayStation entry in EA’s annual football (soccer) series. You take licensed clubs and national teams through exhibition matches, cup competitions and league seasons, controlling passing, crossing, shooting and tackling from a 3D pitch view with adjustable camera angles. Set pieces including free kicks, corners and penalties are played out with their own aiming controls, and you can change formations, tactics and personnel before and during matches. Match settings cover difficulty, half length and weather or pitch conditions, letting you tune how the game plays. Presentation features commentary, licensed kits, stadium crowds and a licensed soundtrack in the menus. Multiplayer supports matches against another player on the same console, and the multitap allows more players to take part.
