FIFA 2002 – Gamecube Game

FIFA 2002 brings EA’s licensed football series to the GameCube with real players, clubs and competitions drawn from leagues around the world. Matches are played from a broadcast-style camera with commentary, crowd noise and on-screen indicators for passing, shooting and tackling. Alongside single exhibition matches you can play through league seasons, knockout cups and international fixtures, taking a national side through qualifying rounds against other countries. Controls cover through balls, crosses, sliding tackles and set pieces, with tactics and formations adjustable before and during a game. Player transfers and squad management let you rearrange line-ups between fixtures. Two players can compete on the same console, either against each other or together against the AI, across the game’s various match and tournament options.
