FIFA Road to World Cup 98 – PS1 Game

FIFA Road to World Cup 98 on PlayStation is built around international football, letting you take a national side through qualifying groups and on toward the World Cup finals. Club league and cup play is also included, using licensed teams and player names from several countries. Matches use a broadcast camera with commentary and crowd audio, and you control passing, crossing, shooting, tackling, and set pieces. Formations, tactics and line-ups are set from the menus, with substitutions during matches. Options let you adjust difficulty, half length, weather and rules, and penalty shootouts can be played on their own. Two players can compete or share a team with a second controller, with multitap support for more players. Memory card saves keep qualifying and tournament progress.
