Flatout – PS2 Game

FlatOut is a racing game built around destruction. You compete in races on dirt tracks, speedways and country routes where fences, tyre stacks, hay bales and roadside clutter break apart and get dragged into the racing line, changing the course as the pack passes through. The cars are banger-style vehicles that visibly deform, losing panels and glass as you trade paint with rivals. Damage carries into how a car handles, so an aggressive line has a cost. Alongside conventional races and demolition-style events, the game includes stunt challenges in which the driver is launched from the windscreen as a ragdoll and scored on distance or accuracy at targets. Winning events earns money you put toward upgrades and new vehicles. A split-screen mode lets a second player join on the same console.
