Gauntlet Dark Legacy – PS2 Game

Gauntlet Dark Legacy is a 3D action dungeon crawler built on the Gauntlet Legends formula. You pick from a roster of fantasy character classes, each with its own melee attack, ranged attack and magic, then work through themed realms full of monster generators, traps, locked doors and boss encounters. Levels are viewed from an overhead angle, and progress depends on smashing spawn points, collecting keys and potions, and grabbing food to keep your steadily draining health bar alive. Characters earn experience and level up, and gold spent between stages boosts stats like armour, strength and speed. Items such as elemental weapon pickups and special powers temporarily change how your hero fights. Several players can join in on the same screen, with treasure and food shared between everyone, so teamwork and squabbling over pickups both come with the territory.
