Ghost Recon – PS2 Game

Ghost Recon is a tactical squad shooter on the PlayStation 2. You lead a team of special forces soldiers through missions that take place largely in open outdoor terrain, using cover, sightlines and careful movement to approach objectives. Enemies and your own soldiers both go down quickly, which pushes you toward scouting ahead and picking engagements rather than charging in. You choose your team from specialist roles such as riflemen, snipers, support gunners and demolitions before deploying, then split them into fire teams and direct where they move and how they engage while you control one soldier directly. Objectives include eliminating targets, holding ground and reaching extraction points. The presentation is restrained, with map screens and orders rather than cinematic set pieces, and progress carries surviving soldiers into later missions.
