Ghostbusters II – NES Game

Ghostbusters II for the Nintendo Entertainment System is an action game based on the film sequel. You control the Ghostbusters as they deal with the supernatural activity spreading through New York, using proton beams and equipment to fight ghosts and slime-based hazards. The game moves between different types of stage rather than sticking to a single format, so play alternates between action sequences and other objective-based sections as you work toward the story’s conclusion. Enemies drift and dart through the screen and must be worn down or trapped, and hazards in the environment can damage you as much as the ghosts themselves. Film locations and characters provide the setting and framing between stages. It is a licensed 8-bit action title with short levels and a limited-lives structure.
