Godzilla Save the Earth – PS2 Game

A 3D kaiju fighting game for PlayStation 2 in which Toho monsters battle in destructible city arenas. You move freely around each stage, using melee attacks, grapples, throws, and ranged beam attacks, and can pick up and hurl buildings and other objects. A meter builds during combat to fuel stronger special attacks, and stage damage accumulates as fights progress. Matches support more than two monsters at once, with single-player modes that pit you against a series of opponents and multiplayer versus play on one console. Progress unlocks further monsters and stages for use in battle. Monsters differ in speed, reach, power, and their signature ranged attacks, so learning matchups and arena layouts is part of play.
