Goosebumps HorrorLand – PS2 Game

Goosebumps HorrorLand is a PlayStation 2 game based on R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books, set in the HorrorLand theme park. You explore the park and its attractions, encountering the monsters and hazards familiar from the series while working through the story. Play mixes exploration with a variety of shorter challenges and minigame-style activities themed around the park’s rides and areas, and multiple characters figure into the adventure. The presentation leans on the books’ blend of spookiness and humour, pitched at younger players and readers of the series rather than at horror fans looking for something graphic. If you know the HorrorLand storyline from the novels, much of the setting and its inhabitants will be recognisable here.
