Granada – Sega Genesis Game

Granada is an overhead-view action shooter for the Sega Genesis. You control an armed tank that can move freely in eight directions while its turret aims independently, letting you strafe around enemies while keeping fire on them. Stages take place across urban and industrial environments filled with enemy vehicles, gun emplacements and mechanical bosses, with destructible scenery and tight corridors shaping how you approach each fight. Weapon and power upgrades appear through the levels, and the tank’s momentum means positioning and retreat matter as much as shooting. Play is fast and largely continuous, with boss encounters closing out stages. Presentation includes scrolling mechanical backdrops and a synth soundtrack typical of the console’s early action releases.
